Kensan International School offers a carefully structured student residential (boarding) programme at one of our campuses, providing families with a secure, supportive, and values-driven boarding option.
Our boarding model is built around family-style living rather than traditional dormitories. Learners reside in well-organised boarding houses under the supervision of boarding matrons and wardens who are also teachers, ensuring close guidance, mentorship, and continuity between academic and residential life.
Boarding is available on a weekly basis, with full-time accommodation provided for learners coming from distant locations. The environment promotes responsibility, cooperation, and personal growth within a safe and well-monitored setting. Student safety and wellbeing remain a top priority, supported by clear supervision structures and established safety protocols.
To ensure a safe, respectful, and harmonious residential environment, all boarding learners are expected to observe the following key expectations:
· Boarding accommodation is provided in shared rooms; single rooms are not available.
· Boarding houses are restricted to resident learners only and remain closed during class hours.
· Learners move to and from the boarding houses under the supervision of a matron or house warden.
· Respectful conduct towards staff and fellow learners is mandatory at all times.
· Theft, indecent behaviour, or serious misconduct may result in expulsion.
· The use or possession of alcohol, tobacco, weapons, or illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
· Male and female residences are separate, and cross-access is not permitted.
· All visitors must receive prior clearance from the school administration.
· Learners must maintain modest dress standards, with minimal jewellery permitted only on weekends.
· Noise levels must be kept low to respect shared living spaces.
· Personal electrical devices must be registered and approved before use.
· Learners are responsible for their own laundry, bedding, and toiletries.
· Meals are provided on campus; cooking in boarding houses is not allowed.
· Boarding property must be respected and maintained; any damage may require replacement and disciplinary action.
